Mediation is a time of love, of loving yourself enough to stop, go within, pay attention and listen.
The ritualising of this time by lighting candles, burning incense, playing music and caressing your body with essential oils is the expression of love for yourself. Preparing yourself and your space shifts the energy within you and of your surroundings, uncovering it of all the perceived pressures of third dimensional reality so it can resonate, unencumbered, at its enlightened resonance for your meditation.
As you close your eyes, breathe deeply… exhaling all the stale air out from the base of your lungs and inhaling fresh air, filling your lungs from belly to shoulders. Repeat several times until you find a a natural peaceful rhythm, then bring your focus back to your third eye.
Allow your mind to drift, ignoring all thoughts as they are no more than the flotsam on the still waters of your consciousness.
Elevate your focus to the light. Lightness of body, lightness of mind, lightness of energy. You are the light. As you expand into and as the light, pay attention and listen. By staying in the energy, by focussing on the light and your consciousness; you are giving yourself love, you are resonating peace, light and fulfillment, with the undeniable faith that you are more than your pretend to be.
Meditation is one of the purest forms of self-love. Demonstrate loving yourself everyday with the ritual of meditation and watch miracles happen.
